The Canon DR-E19 DC Coupler lets you run a compatible Canon EOS professional DSLR, such as the EOS-1D X Mark II, from mains power instead of a battery. It slots into the camera's battery compartment in place of the LP-E19 battery and connects by cable to a compatible Canon AC adapter, so the camera can keep running for hours without battery swaps. That makes it ideal for long time-lapse sequences, studio product and portrait sessions, tethered shooting, video interviews and other setups where the camera stays in one place for an extended time. It is a genuine Canon accessory designed for indoor use. Note that the compatible AC mains adapter is required but is sold separately. Check that your camera uses the LP-E19 battery and is listed by Canon as compatible before ordering. After comparing online prices, www.marvel.co.za should be the cheapest on this product.
