The Canon EOS R10 is an APS-C mirrorless camera aimed at enthusiast photographers and content creators stepping up from a smartphone or entry-level DSLR, sold here as a body only (no lens included). It uses Canon's RF lens mount, giving access to Canon's growing range of mirrorless RF lenses (and EF/EF-S DSLR lenses via an adapter), and targets fast-moving subjects — sport, wildlife, family action shots and vlogging — with quick autofocus and burst shooting typical of this camera line. Buying the body alone means a lens (commonly a kit zoom like the RF-S 18-45mm) needs to be purchased separately to actually take photos, which suits buyers who already own compatible RF-mount lenses or want to choose their own.
