The Canon imageFORMULA DR-X10C is a dedicated A3 production document scanner with selectable paper paths for handling different document types, and a 500-sheet single-pass duplex automatic document feeder. It scans at up to 260 images per minute (130 pages per minute in duplex) at 600x600dpi, is rated for a 60,000-page daily duty cycle, and can handle documents up to 3 metres long — useful for architectural drawings or long forms. Connectivity is via USB 2.0 or SCSI-3. This is high-volume production scanning hardware for document-conversion bureaus, archives, records-management departments and libraries digitising large paper volumes at speed, not a light-duty desktop scanner.
