The Canon Speedlite EL-10 (6579C002) is a compact, lightweight on-camera flash for Canon EOS shooters who want more control over light for portraits, events and everyday photography. It has a guide number of 40 m (ISO 100), a bounce-and-swivel head for softer, more natural light, and fast recycling of about 1 to 2.5 seconds. It supports Canon E-TTL II automatic flash metering and improved communication with the camera for quick, easy operation, and it can work as part of a Canon radio wireless flash system with a range of up to 30 m. An AF-assist beam helps focusing in low light, and a built-in display shows settings at a glance. It runs on four AA batteries, weighs 287 g without batteries, and comes with a carrying case.
