The CANYON Fobos GC-3 is a full-size PU-leather gaming chair built around a heavier-duty metal frame, in a Black and Orange finish, and shares most of its core engineering with CANYON's Corax GC-5 — the two sit at the same tier in CANYON's range, above the mesh-backed Wave/Flow chairs. It uses a 1.5mm-thick metal frame on a 5-point nylon base with 60mm polyurethane castors, and CANYON rates it to a 150kg maximum user weight, well above the 120kg rating on the Wave MCH02 and Flow MCH01. The seat is finished in eco-leather over dense original foam, height adjusts via a Class 4 gas lift, and the backrest reclines through a 90 to 165 degree range using a "Butterfly" bending mechanism with a tilt lock. Armrests are 2D-adjustable (15 degrees of in/out swing) and finished in ABS plastic, and the chair includes a separate headrest cushion and a lumbar support cushion. Where it differs from the Corax GC-5 is mainly the base material (nylon here versus metal on the Corax) and the tilt mechanism name. It carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty.
