More Info

The Elgato HD60 Pro is an internal PCIe (x1) game capture card for streamers and content creators recording from PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It captures gameplay up to 1080p at 60fps with hardware H.264 encoding built in, so the CPU doesn't get bogged down handling the capture workload alongside game rendering or streaming software, and a "master copy" mode records a full-quality local file in parallel with whatever's being streamed live, so a high-bitrate archive copy is always kept even if the live stream itself runs at a lower bitrate. Capture bitrate runs up to around 60Mbps, plenty for clean, sharp 1080p60 footage without visible compression banding. It accepts an HDMI input directly from the console and passes the video straight through its own HDMI output to a TV or monitor with essentially no added lag, so gameplay stays responsive whether or not capture is actively running. Being a low-profile PCIe x1 card, it installs into almost any desktop PC's spare expansion slot without needing a full-size slot.
