The D-Link DUB-1340 is a compact 4-port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hub that adds four extra USB ports to a notebook or desktop computer, reaching transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps. All four ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices, and the hub is plug-and-play with no drivers required on Windows, Mac, or Linux. Note: manufacturer datasheets describe this model as requiring an external power adapter, which conflicts with the supplier catalog's "no AC adapter" claim.
