Battery life runs up to 11 days in regular smartwatch mode, dropping to around 24 hours when actively using GPS and pulse oximetry for the "Fly" activity profile. Beyond aviation, it carries Garmin's usual health and fitness tracking - stress tracking, sleep monitoring, animated workouts and performance metrics - and pairs with either Android or Apple smartphones for notifications and app connectivity. It also supports contactless Garmin Pay for tap-to-pay purchases directly from the wrist, without needing a phone or card on hand.
