The Dahua U106 128GB (DHI-USB-U106-30-128GB) is a small all-metal USB 3.0 flash drive in a silver finish, with a built-in loop for a keyring or lanyard. Dahua, better known in South Africa for its CCTV and security gear, makes it for everyday transfers and backups of documents, photos, music and video between computers and other digital devices, and it is handy for exporting footage from a recorder. Dahua rates it at 40 to 70MB/s read and 9 to 25MB/s write depending on the device and port. The 128GB model ships pre-formatted as exFAT, so single files larger than 4GB, such as long HD videos, can be stored without reformatting. It works with Windows 7/8/10, macOS 10.15 or later and Linux 2.4.x or later, drawing at most 150mA at 5V from the USB port. The capless metal body measures just 40.4 x 12.25 x 4.65mm and weighs about 5.7g. Operating range is 0 to 60 degrees C, and Dahua covers it with a 5-year limited warranty.
