This is a Garmin Digital Control Module (DCM) from the EmpirBus digital switching family, configured for 24V systems with 12 standard outputs, 2 communication (Com) outputs, and 16 inputs. Like every DCM in Garmin's EmpirBus range, it's installed near a cluster of electrical loads on a boat and controlled/monitored from a compatible Garmin chartplotter or helm display over NMEA 2000, replacing the wiring and manual switches of a conventional breaker panel with a digitally addressable circuit that can be switched and current-monitored remotely.
