The Dell Pro Precision 5 16 (PW516261) is a 16-inch mobile workstation built for engineering, design, and data-heavy professional workloads that need real desktop-class compute in a portable chassis. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 366H processor — 18MB of cache, 16 cores (arranged as a mix of performance and efficient cores in Intel's current 4-8-4 style layout) across 16 threads, boosting up to 4.8GHz Turbo with up to 80W of Turbo power budget for sustained heavy compute. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA RTX PRO 500 Blackwell-generation discrete GPU carrying 6GB of GDDR7 memory, giving it real ISV-certified graphics performance for CAD, 3D modelling, and GPU-accelerated workflows on top of the integrated Intel graphics.
Memory is 32GB of LPCAMM2 running at 8533MT/s in dual-channel mode — a newer, more compact and higher-bandwidth memory module format than traditional SODIMM — paired with a 1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD for fast boot and large-file throughput. Built-in 5G connectivity via a Mediatek T700 (DW5933e-m) module configured for South Africa keeps the machine online away from Wi-Fi. The 16-inch FHD+/WUXGA display runs at 400 nits with an anti-glare coating for comfortable use in bright offices or on site, and an 8MP camera with IR sensor and microphone supports Windows Hello and video conferencing. The unit ships with Dell ProSupport Next Business Day Onsite Service (after remote diagnosis) with hardware and software support for 36 months, geared at business buyers who need guaranteed uptime.
