The DNP DS820 is a professional dye-sublimation photo printer, well known in the event photography, photo booth and retail photo printing industries for its ability to produce panoramic prints up to roughly 8x20 inches (203x508mm) in addition to standard photo sizes, by printing two standard-size prints side-by-side in one pass or a single long panoramic image. Dye-sublimation printing produces continuous-tone, lab-quality photographic prints (rather than dot-pattern inkjet output) with a durable, water- and fade-resistant finish, which is why this printer class is the industry standard for event and booth photography rather than a general office/home photo printer. It's a dedicated photo device, not a document printer.
