The Eaton 5PX Gen2 is a premium line-interactive UPS built to protect servers, network racks and other business-critical IT equipment from power cuts, sags and surges — a common deployment in a load-shedding-prone environment like South Africa. This 3000VA/3000W tower/rack-convertible model (2U) ships with 8x C13 and 2x C19 output outlets fed from a C20 inlet, a lead-acid battery already installed, and supports an Extended Battery Module (EBM) for longer runtime on top of its 4-battery option. Communication is flexible — USB, RS232, or an optional network management card via its card slot — and a mounting bracket is included for rack installs. Warranty is 3 years on the UPS itself and 2 years on the batteries.
