Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 122sv, WW w/GT54 xcdr

The Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 122sv is a 12-inch fishfinder/chartplotter combo bundled here with a worldwide (WW) basemap and a GT54 transducer, positioning it as an all-in-one navigation and sonar unit ready to use out of the box anywhere in the world rather than needing a region-specific chart card for basic navigation. It's built around a 12-inch keyed-assist touchscreen -- combining touch input with physical buttons, useful on a moving boat in wet or gloved-hand conditions where touch-only control can be unreliable.

More Info

The bundled GT54 transducer (GT54UHD-TM in Garmin's own naming) delivers Garmin's traditional CHIRP sonar alongside Ultra High-Definition ClearVu and SideVu scanning sonar, plus water temperature readings -- giving both a conventional 'straight down' fish-arch view and Garmin's higher-resolution scanning views that render structure and fish more like a photographic image. Frequency coverage spans CHIRP High Wide (150-240kHz) for traditional sonar, plus dedicated ClearVu CHIRP bands at 455kHz and 800kHz for the scanning modes. Maximum depth capability is rated at 800ft for traditional sonar and 500ft for both ClearVu and SideVu scanning modes -- ample for the vast majority of recreational and inshore fishing, though notably shallower than the dedicated deep-water figures Garmin's separate Panoptix LiveScope XR transducers achieve. As an 'sv' model the unit also supports Garmin's Panoptix and Panoptix LiveScope live-scanning sonar when a compatible LiveScope transducer is added later, giving a clear upgrade path beyond the bundled GT54 transducer's standard/UHD scanning capability without replacing the display unit itself.
