The EcoFlow Ocean2 (listed here as "OCEAN2") is a 10kVA hybrid solar inverter, aimed at the South African home and small-business backup-power market rather than pure off-grid installs. As a hybrid unit it can manage power from grid, solar and battery storage together, and this model carries 3x 8kW MPPT solar charge controller inputs and up to 800V DC input, giving it real capacity for a sizeable rooftop solar array. It's specifically called out as NRS097-compliant and City of Cape Town (CoCT) certified — the two approvals installers need to legally connect a grid-tied inverter in South Africa — making it a genuine load-shedding solution rather than a grey-market import. It carries a 10-year warranty. Battery capacity, output waveform and physical dimensions aren't given in this listing.
