Ellies' 30-metre UTP CAT6 patch cable (Ellies code ACCAT6/30F) is a long, pre-terminated network lead with transparent 8P8C RJ45 plugs and PVC strain-relief boots on each end. It is aimed at connecting routers, fibre ONTs and ADSL modems to laptops, desktop PCs, network switches, smart TVs, media boxes and consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox when the devices are rooms apart. Ellies' datasheet describes a 4-pair, 26AWG CAT6 patch cord with stranded copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors around a cross-separator, a grey PVC jacket of about 5.6mm, T568B pin-out on both ends and gold-flashed plug contacts; every cable is 100% tested for opens and short circuits and is RoHS/REACH compliant.
