The EPOS HZP 09 is a pack of two genuine replacement foam ear pads for older Sennheiser/EPOS PC-series computer and gaming headsets. EPOS lists them as suitable for the PC 20, PC 25, PC 30, PC 31, PC 35, PC 36, PC 130, PC 131, PC 135, PC 136, PC 140, PC 141, PC 145 and PC 146. These headsets are widely used in schools, language labs, call centres and home offices, and after long use their original foam pads harden, tear or go missing, which makes the headset uncomfortable and lets sound leak. Replacing the pads restores comfort and is also a sensible hygiene step when a headset is passed on to another user, for example in classrooms and shared workstations. The pads are round, made of soft foam, and slip over the earpiece. The pack contains two pads, enough for one stereo headset. Before ordering, check that the model name printed on your headset is one of those listed. Note that some retailers now list this part as discontinued, so it is a spare for existing headsets rather than a current-model accessory.
