The EPOS HZP 19 is a pair of genuine replacement leatherette ear cushions, size M, for a range of EPOS (formerly Sennheiser Communications) office and call-centre headsets. EPOS lists them as suitable for the MB 50, CC 540, SH 250, SH 338 IP, SH 350, SH 350 IP and SH 358 IP. Ear cushions on a headset worn for a full shift gradually flatten, crack and absorb sweat, which makes the headset less comfortable and lets in more background noise, so contact centres and IT departments replace them routinely rather than replacing the whole headset. Fitting a fresh pair is also a simple hygiene measure when a headset is handed over to a new user. The leatherette (synthetic leather) surface is easy to wipe clean and gives a softer, more sealed fit than foam pads, which helps the wearer hear callers clearly in a noisy open-plan office. The pack contains two ear cushions, enough for one binaural headset or two monaural headsets. Check the model name on your headset against the list above before ordering.
