The EPOS IMPACT SC 45 USB MS is a wired, single-sided (monaural) on-ear office headset from the former Sennheiser enterprise range, now sold under the EPOS name. The MS suffix indicates the variant certified for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business. It is designed for contact centre agents and office staff who spend long periods on calls but need to stay aware of colleagues around them, which the one-ear design allows. The headset connects to a PC or laptop by USB through a detachable cable with in-line call control and can also be used with phones and tablets via 3.5 mm jack. A noise-cancelling microphone on a bendable boom filters background office noise, and Sennheiser ActiveGard technology protects the user against sudden acoustic shocks. Speaker frequency response is 60 to 16,000 Hz and the microphone covers 150 to 6,800 Hz. The headband is adjustable with leatherette padding. Warranty is two years.
