The Epson EcoTank L5290 is a 4-in-1 A4 colour ink tank printer that prints, copies, scans and faxes, built for busy homes and small offices that want low running costs instead of cartridges. Ink is topped up from bottles into the four front-mounted tanks, so you can see levels at a glance and avoid the cost of replacing cartridges. Print speeds reach up to 33 ppm black and 15 ppm colour (draft), with a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi and borderless photo printing up to 10 x 15 cm. An automatic document feeder handles multi-page copying, scanning and faxing, and the flatbed CIS scanner works at 1200 x 2400 dpi. Two-sided printing is manual. Connectivity covers USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and Ethernet, with Epson Smart Panel, Epson Connect and Apple AirPrint for printing from phones and laptops. The 100-sheet rear tray takes plain and photo paper from 64 to 300 g/m². It measures 375 x 347 x 237 mm and weighs about 5 kg, so it fits comfortably on a desk at home or in a small business.
