The Epson EcoTank L8050 is a single-function A4 photo printer built around a six-colour ink tank system, aimed at photographers, crafters and small studios who print lots of photos and want low running costs. Using black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta inks, it produces smooth colour gradients at up to 5760 x 1440 dpi, with borderless prints on 10x15 cm and 13x18 cm photo paper. Draft speed reaches up to 22 ppm, with an ISO rating of 8 ipm. The included tray also lets you print directly onto printable CDs, DVDs and PVC ID cards. Ink is topped up from bottles into the front tanks, avoiding the cost of cartridges. It connects over USB, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Wi-Fi Direct, and supports Epson Smart Panel/iPrint and remote printing from mobile devices. The 100-sheet tray takes photo paper, plain paper and envelopes up to A4. Note that it only prints - there is no scanner. It measures 403 x 369 x 149 mm and weighs about 6 kg.
