The Explorer Cases 11413.B E is a large, waterproof hard case in black, supplied empty (no foam), with an internal length of about 114 cm. Made in Italy by GT Line from a tough copolymer polypropylene compound, it is designed as a long-equipment case - Explorer markets the 11413 for rifles, but it is equally suited to transporting light stands, tripods, microphone booms, speaker poles, LED bars, survey or scientific instruments and other long gear. Internal dimensions are 1136 x 350 x 135 mm (lid depth 42 mm, base depth 93 mm) and external dimensions 1189 x 415 x 159 mm, giving a volume of about 53.7 litres. The case weighs 7.8 kg empty. An O-ring seal keeps out water and dust, an automatic pressure-release valve equalises air pressure (for example after air travel), and corrosion-proof metal hinges have a lid-stay feature. It has a large front handle, two-man side handles and ball-bearing wheels, plus internal slots for optional panel mounting. Operating temperature range is -33 °C to +90 °C.
