Garmin Force Kayak Propulsion System,Base Model

The Garmin Force Kayak (Force Current) propulsion system is a purpose-built electric trolling motor for kayak anglers, replacing paddling or a bulkier canoe-style outboard with a brushless, dual-voltage motor mounted for precise boat control while fishing. This is the Base Model configuration. Unlike trolling motors adapted from larger boat product lines, this unit is engineered specifically for the size, weight, and mounting constraints of a fishing kayak, with full forward and reverse thrust for tight manoeuvring around timber, weed beds, and shorelines.
The brushless motor delivers up to 50 lbs of thrust when run on 24V power, or 30 lbs on a 12V setup, with 20 speed settings so the operator can crawl slowly along a weed edge or move briskly across open water at a comfortable pace. A standout feature is smart anchor lock, which uses Garmin's multi-band GPS to hold the kayak's exact position against wind and current without dropping a physical anchor — useful for staying on a specific spot over structure. Wireless integration lets a paired Garmin chartplotter control throttle, steering, and anchor lock directly, and also allows creating routes and tracks for the motor to autonomously follow while the angler fishes hands-free. This combination of precise digital control and kayak-specific engineering makes it a step up from a manual transom-mount trolling motor for anglers serious about position-holding and hands-free navigation.
