Garmin Force Kraken Trolling Motor,48in,100lb,Black,w/ GT56

Garmin Force Kraken Trolling Motor,48in,100lb,Black,w/ GT56

The Garmin Force Kraken is the flagship model in Garmin's Force line of bow-mount electric trolling motors, built for larger saltwater boats and anglers who need serious pulling power. This listing is the Black-finish, 48-inch shaft version rated at 100 lb of thrust, delivered with Garmin's integrated GT56 UHD transducer already built into the lower unit. The motor runs on a brushless design at 24V or 36V and communicates wirelessly with compatible Garmin chartplotters rather than needing a separate wired display, so anchor lock, waypoint navigation and sonar can all be driven straight from the helm MFD. A pivot-style mount is used specifically to keep the footprint small in the bow, useful on boats where deck space up front is already tight.

More Info

Day to day it's used both for boat control (spot-lock anchoring, route/waypoint following, jog steering) and for real-time bottom scanning while trolling or working structure, since the GT56 built into the motor's foot outputs CHIRP traditional sonar plus Ultra High Definition ClearVu and SideVu imaging without a second hull-mounted transducer -- ClearVu reaches to roughly 400 ft and SideVu to roughly 500 ft. Multi-band GPS and an integrated AHRS give precise position-holding for the anchor-lock feature even in wind and current. The saltwater-rated housing carries Garmin's advanced corrosion protection for this exact environment, and the motor is Livescope-ready if a Livescope transducer is added later, though that transducer is sold separately and isn't part of this bundle.
