The Garmin Force Kraken is Garmin's largest and most powerful bow-mount trolling motor, built to extend the Force series' Anchor Lock precision and thrust to boats beyond the standard Force's range. It's a brushless motor rated at 100 lbs of thrust at 36V (80 lbs at 24V, ISO 13342), on a pivot-style bow mount for boats with limited bow deck space. This unit is the 63-inch shaft in Black, and ships with Garmin's GT56UHD-TR all-in-one transducer built into the lower unit for onboard sonar from day one.
The built-in GT56UHD-TR gives high-wide traditional CHIRP sonar (150-240 kHz) alongside Ultra High-Definition ClearVü and SideVü scanning sonar (455/800/1000 kHz), with the Kraken's LiveScope cable management routing the transducer cable inside the shaft rather than leaving it exposed. Anchor Lock combines multi-band GPS with an integrated AHRS for precise automatic position-holding around structure and drop-offs, and the included wireless floating remote adds virtual anchor lock, heading hold and point-and-go gesture steering from anywhere aboard — a compatible Garmin quatix 8 smartwatch offers the same control from the wrist. The composite shaft has reinforced corrosion and saltwater protection for offshore use, and linking to a compatible Garmin chartplotter adds route guidance and full sonar/control integration. Box contents include the Kraken motor and shaft with the built-in GT56UHD-TR transducer, floating wireless remote, high-efficiency propeller, mounting hardware, circuit breaker and battery plug.
