Anchor Lock uses multi-band GPS combined with an integrated AHRS to hold the boat's position precisely in wind and current, and the included wireless floating remote adds virtual anchor lock, heading hold and point-and-go gesture steering that can be operated from anywhere on the boat. A compatible Garmin quatix 8 smartwatch can also steer and anchor the motor from the wrist. Garmin builds the composite shaft with reinforced corrosion and saltwater protection for repeated saltwater use, and the Kraken links to a compatible Garmin chartplotter for route guidance and expanded trolling-motor control at the main display. As sold, this configuration includes the motor and shaft, floating wireless remote, high-efficiency propeller, mounting hardware, circuit breaker and battery plug; a GT56UHD-TR transducer would be purchased separately to add onboard sonar.
