Anchor Lock is the Kraken's signature capability: multi-band GPS positioning combined with an integrated AHRS holds the boat's position automatically in wind and current, using what Garmin calls its most precise boat-positioning technology to date. The included wireless floating remote gives virtual anchor lock, autopilot-style heading hold and point-and-go gesture steering from anywhere aboard, and the motor can also be commanded from a compatible Garmin quatix 8 smartwatch. Its composite shaft is built with reinforced corrosion and saltwater protection for regular offshore use, and connecting to a compatible Garmin chartplotter adds route guidance and deeper trolling-motor control from the main display. Since this configuration has no bundled transducer, the box contains the motor and shaft, floating wireless remote, high-efficiency propeller, mounting hardware, circuit breaker and battery plug, with a GT56UHD-TR transducer available as a separate accessory.
