The Garmin Force Kraken is Garmin's largest and most powerful bow-mount trolling motor, built to extend the award-winning Force series to bigger boats and rougher water than the standard Force can handle. It's a brushless-motor unit rated at 100 lbs of thrust on a 36V battery system (80 lbs on 24V, per ISO 13342 testing), mounted on a pivot-style bow bracket designed for boats with limited bow deck space. This unit is the 90-inch shaft length — Garmin's longest standard Kraken option below the newer 110-inch variant, intended for boats with high bow decks or heavy offshore freeboard — finished in White, and sold without a transducer, aimed at a buyer who already has a compatible sensor or plans to add Garmin's GT56UHD-TR separately.

Even without the bundled sonar sensor, the Kraken's standout feature is its Anchor Lock system, which uses Garmin's most precise boat-positioning technology — multi-band GPS combined with an integrated AHRS (attitude and heading reference system) — to hold the boat's position automatically in wind and current. The included wireless floating remote adds virtual anchor lock, autopilot-style heading hold, and point-and-go gesture steering from anywhere on the boat, and the motor can also be controlled from a compatible Garmin smartwatch such as the quatix 8. The composite shaft is built with reinforced corrosion and saltwater protection for repeated offshore use, and the motor connects to a compatible Garmin chartplotter for route guidance and advanced control. Typical box contents are the Kraken motor and shaft, floating wireless remote, high-efficiency propeller, mounting hardware, circuit breaker and battery plug; a GT56UHD-TR transducer would need to be purchased separately for onboard sonar.
