Garmin GNX 130

Garmin GNX 130

The Garmin GNX 130 is a large-format marine instrument display with a 10" glass-bonded, high-contrast monochrome LCD - significantly bigger than the standard GNX 20 elsewhere in this catalog, built for visibility from a real distance at the helm. Its white or colour digits can scale up to 2.75" (70mm), the largest in its class, keeping readouts legible even at a glance from across a cockpit.

More Info

It can be configured into five different display layouts - single, dual or triple function readouts, plus dedicated Gauge and Graph modes - to present any of more than 50 marine and vessel parameters (wind, depth, speed, engine data and more) fed over NMEA 2000. Power consumption is very low - just 0.36W in daylight and 0.4W at night with backlight - an important consideration for boats running on a limited battery/solar budget. It's controlled from a compatible GNX keypad and shares data seamlessly across other connected Garmin displays on the boat's network. This size and format is typically chosen for a primary helm instrument on a sailboat or larger powerboat where a big, glanceable number readout matters more than a chartplotter-style colour map display. It's commonly paired with a GNX wind instrument for a complete large-format sailing data suite at the helm.
