Garmin GNX Wireless Sail Pack 52 (DST810)

The GNX Wireless Sail Pack 52 is the cordless counterpart to Garmin's wired GNX Sail Pack: it pairs a GNX 20 instrument display with a wireless gWind Wireless 2 transducer and an Airmar DST810 multisensor transducer for depth, speed and temperature, communicating wind data over Garmin's wireless protocol rather than running a physical cable up the mast to a masthead wind unit.
Going wireless for the wind sensor removes one of the more awkward cable runs on a sailboat retrofit - up the mast to the masthead - which matters for owners upgrading an older boat's instruments without wanting to pull new wiring through the rig. The DST810 transducer still handles depth (to 330ft), fast 5Hz boat speed through the water, water temperature, and heel/trim and pitch/roll sensing via its internal attitude sensor, feeding all of it to the NMEA 2000 network and the GNX 20 display, which shows over 50 marine and boat parameters through the monochrome, glass-bonded, anti-glare display technology shared across the GNX range. Bluetooth calibration through Airmar's Cast app applies here too, so the through-hull sensor doesn't need to be pulled or accessed to calibrate it after installation. The gWind Wireless 2 sensor's range is rated for the mast heights typical of recreational sailboats, and its battery is user-replaceable at the masthead unit itself.
