Garmin GPSMAP 9024

The Garmin GPSMAP 24-series glass-bridge chartplotter is part of Garmin's flagship 9000-series lineup, described by Garmin as the recreational marine market's largest chartplotters, built with an integrated 4K-resolution touchscreen for edge-to-edge clarity when flush-mounted into a helm. It carries seven times the processing power of the prior-generation Garmin glass-bridge displays, ships with a worldwide basemap preloaded, and pairs with a GPS 24xd multi-band GNSS position receiver plus an NMEA 2000 starter kit in the box.
This model does not have built-in sonar (that's what the 'xsv' suffix denotes elsewhere in the 9000 series) - it is a pure chartplotter/navigation display, intended to be networked with other Garmin MFDs, radar, autopilot, and sonar black-box modules over Garmin's marine network rather than working as a standalone fish-finder. Fast, responsive 10Hz GPS positioning keeps the vessel icon moving fluidly on screen rather than jumping between fixes, and up to 5,000 waypoints can be dropped and navigated back to. Multiple units of this size can be flat-mounted edge-to-edge at a helm to build a genuine multi-screen glass bridge, or flush-mounted individually - the video-integration and networking capability lets it also display radar overlay, engine data, and camera feeds from elsewhere on the boat's Garmin network.
