Garmin GT51M-THP Thru-Hull Mount (Pair)

The GT51M-THP is a matched pair (port and starboard) of Garmin thru-hull marine transducers, built for boaters who want both traditional and scanning sonar in a permanent, faired thru-hull installation rather than a transom-mount unit. Each transducer's CHIRP DownVu/SideVu element is rated at 500W (1,500W combined across the pair), operating on 260/455kHz, while the traditional CHIRP sonar side runs at 600W on mid-band 80-160kHz - giving a single transducer pair both wide-area SideVu scanning imagery and conventional fish-arch sonar depth reading.
This is aimed at coastal and offshore boat owners upgrading their fishfinder sonar to Garmin's CHIRP ecosystem on a permanently installed hull, rather than a boat where a transom-mount transducer is impractical (e.g. inboard-powered or stepped-hull boats). Each unit includes a stainless steel stem, fairing block, Y-cable, bushings and mounting hardware, and both include a built-in fast-response temperature sensor for real-time water temperature alongside the sonar feed. They use a 12-pin connector and are designed for hulls with less than 25 degrees of deadrise. Pairing port and starboard transducers like this is common on larger sportfishing and cruising boats, since a single hull penetration sometimes can't give a clean read across the boat's full beam. Its 12-pin connector is compatible with Garmin's current GPSMAP and ECHOMAP chartplotter and sonar module lineup.
