This is a specialist marine wrap film rather than a general vehicle or signage vinyl — Hexis's Antifouling Boat Hull Film is designed to be applied directly to a boat's hull as an alternative or supplement to conventional antifouling paint, reducing marine growth (barnacles, algae) build-up on the submerged surface. Being a self-adhesive film rather than a painted coating, it can typically be removed and replaced when it reaches the end of its service life, without the surface prep and toxic-paint handling that traditional antifouling requires.
