The HiLook DVR-108G-M1 is an affordable 8-channel hybrid DVR from Hikvision's HiLook range, built for home and small business CCTV systems in South Africa. It records up to eight analogue cameras over coax (HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and CVBS at 720p/1080p) and supports 2 IP cameras as standard, expandable to 10 IP channels at up to 5MP, so you can mix old and new cameras on one recorder. Deep-learning Motion Detection 2.0 separates people and vehicles from other movement to reduce false alerts, and smart search helps find events quickly. H.265 Pro+ compression stretches recording time on the single SATA bay, which takes a hard drive of up to 4TB (sold separately). You get simultaneous HDMI and VGA output at up to 1080p, audio over coax plus RCA in/out, a 10/100 LAN port and two rear USB 2.0 ports, with remote viewing on PC and phone. The compact white mini 1U case measures 200 x 200 x 45 mm and runs off a 12V 1.5A supply.
