The HiLook THC-B229-M is a 2MP ColorVu analogue bullet camera from Hikvision's HiLook range. It records in colour around the clock instead of switching to black and white at night: an F1.0 lens and a warm white light reaching up to 40 m keep footage in colour after dark, which makes faces, clothing and vehicles easier to identify. This 2.8 mm version has a wide 102° horizontal view, good for entrances, driveways and shopfronts. A single output port switches between TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS, so it works with most HD DVRs, and 3D DNR plus digital WDR help keep images clean. The metal, IP66-rated housing is built for outdoor use from -40 to 60 °C, and the bracket adjusts in pan, tilt and rotation. It runs on 12 V DC at a maximum of 4 W. A DVR, cabling and power supply are needed and sold separately.
