The Hisense PX4-PRO is an ultra-short-throw laser projector, meaning it sits just centimetres from the wall or screen rather than needing to be mounted several metres back like a conventional projector. It uses a triple-colour laser light source (separate red, green, and blue lasers rather than a laser-plus-phosphor design) rated at 3500 lumens brightness and 6500:1 contrast, and can project a picture anywhere from 80 to 200 inches diagonally, all at 4K resolution. This combination suits home theatre and boardroom setups where a large, bright, colour-accurate image is wanted without the cabling and space a long-throw projector or a rear-projection setup would need.
