Unknown HO7RN-F 3 core X 1.5mm sq rubber cable, black

More Info

H07RN-F 3G1.5 is a heavy-duty flexible rubber power cable with three 1.5 mm² cores, one of them a green/yellow earth, sold here by the metre off the drum in black. H07RN-F is the harmonised European designation (EN 50525-2-21) for a 450/750 V cable with rubber insulation and a tough polychloroprene (neoprene-type) sheath, and it is the standard choice for temporary and mobile power on stages, outdoor events, building sites and workshops, where cables are dragged, walked on, rained on and coiled every day. Typical uses include making up single-phase extension leads and power feeds for lighting, audio racks and power tools, and connecting equipment that moves. The conductors are class 5 fine-stranded annealed copper for flexibility, insulated with ethylene-propylene rubber, with core colours brown, blue and green/yellow. A typical manufacturer data sheet gives a maximum overall diameter of about 11.9 mm, a weight of around 139 kg/km, a minimum bending radius of six times the diameter and suitability for permanent outdoor use; exact figures vary slightly between manufacturers. Current rating depends on installation conditions, so size circuits and protection to the applicable wiring regulations.
