The Hollyland Lark C1 Solo for iOS (LARK-C1-SOLO-IPHONE-BK) is an ultra-compact wireless lavalier microphone system in black for recording clear voice audio straight into an iPhone or iPad with a Lightning port. It consists of one clip-on transmitter and one receiver that plugs directly into the device's MFi-certified Lightning connector, so there are no cables between phone and microphone. It suits vloggers, social media creators, journalists, teachers and small businesses filming interviews, tutorials and live streams on a phone. The 2.4 GHz link with frequency-hopping technology reaches up to 200 m line-of-sight (about 40 m with obstructions) with very low latency, and the omnidirectional electret capsule covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a 110 dB maximum SPL and 86 dB dynamic range. One-button active noise cancellation cuts background noise, and the transmitter runs for about 8 hours from its 140 mAh battery, charging in 1.5 hours. The receiver passes charging through, so the phone can be charged while recording. The transmitter measures 48 x 21.5 x 10 mm and weighs 11.5 g; the receiver weighs 7 g. The Solo kit does not include the charging case supplied with the Duo.
