The HP Wired Mouse 100 (6VY96AA) is a simple plug-and-play optical mouse for everyday home and office computing. Its ambidextrous shape is designed to sit comfortably in either hand for all-day use, with a scroll wheel. It connects by a cable to any available USB Type-A port, so there are no batteries to charge or wireless receivers to lose, and it works straight away on Windows 7, 8 and 10 as well as macOS with no software needed. It is a good choice for replacing a worn-out mouse, kitting out desktops in offices, schools and call centres, or pairing with a laptop at a desk. The mouse measures 116.6 x 64.3 x 37.2 mm and weighs 90 g. The box contains the mouse and a warranty card, and HP backs it with a two-year limited warranty.
