The HP 100W GaN Wall Charger (HP part CS9V7UT) is a compact gallium-nitride USB-C power adapter that can charge a USB-C laptop, tablet or phone at up to 100 W using the USB-C Power Delivery protocol. GaN components let it run cooler and smaller than older silicon chargers; HP says it is about 40% smaller and 50% lighter than its previous 110 W USB-C laptop charger, which makes it a practical spare for a laptop bag or a travel kit. Adaptive output steps between 15 W, 27 W, 75 W and 100 W to match the connected device. It suits business travellers and hybrid workers who want one charger for a high-power USB-C laptop and smaller devices. The adapter measures 60 x 56.5 x 32 mm and weighs about 190 g, and HP states at least 90% post-consumer recycled plastic in the housing with a low-halogen cable. In the box are the power adapter, a 2 m USB-C cable, a product notice, quick start guide and warranty card. Operating temperature is 0 to 35 degrees Celsius.
