The HP 485 Comfort Wired Keyboard (HP part 8T6M2AA) is a full-size USB keyboard with a curved, wave-shaped key layout and an integrated padded palm rest, designed to place the wrists in a more neutral position than a flat keyboard during long typing sessions. It suits office workers, call centres and home offices that want ergonomic comfort without batteries or wireless pairing: it simply plugs into a USB-A port via its 1.5 m cable. The layout includes a numeric keypad, programmable hot keys and a dedicated Copilot key for Windows 11, and the membrane keys have 2 mm of travel. It is spill resistant, and HP lists compatibility with Windows 10 and 11, macOS, ChromeOS and iOS. The keyboard measures 442.7 x 214.9 x 34.1 mm including the palm rest and weighs 870 g, in black, with no backlight. HP states at least 55% post-consumer recycled materials in its construction. It is a straightforward replacement for a standard keyboard that adds wrist support at modest cost.
