The HP 5G Sub-6 Cat 19 WWAN (AM5R4AA) is an internal M.2 5G modem module (Fibocom FM350-GL based) that adds built-in mobile broadband to supported HP business notebooks, so users can connect over 5G Sub-6 or LTE networks without a USB dongle or hotspot. It supports 256-QAM modulation and LTE Category 19 speeds on 4G, and HP notes eSIM support for buying data plans without a physical SIM card where the notebook and carrier allow. The module is designed for the G11 generation: HP lists the EliteBook 830, 835, 840, 845, 860, 865 and 1040 G11, the Elite x360 830 and 1040 G11, and ZBook Fury, Firefly 14/16 and Firefly 14 G11 A mobile workstations. The notebook must be WWAN-ready with antennas fitted, so check your exact model before ordering; installation is normally done by a technician. It runs on Windows 10 and 11, measures 52 x 30 x 2.3 mm and weighs 7 g.
