The HP 965 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard (7E756AA) is a full-size split-zone keyboard designed to reduce wrist and forearm strain for people who type all day. The keys are split into two angled zones on a curved, tented board with an integrated palm rest, and the numeric keypad is a separate wireless unit that can be placed on either side of the keyboard or away from the mouse to keep the shoulders relaxed. It connects to up to two devices at once, using either the included USB-A 2.4 GHz receiver or Bluetooth, with a range of about 10 m, and works with Windows 10 and 11, macOS and ChromeOS. Twenty programmable keys can be set up in HP's software, and the layout includes a Copilot key. Membrane switches with 2 mm travel are rated for 12 million keystrokes. The keyboard runs on two AA batteries and the numpad on two CR2032 coin cells, all included. The keyboard measures 398.8 x 233.6 x 39.2 mm and weighs 933 g, and is made with at least 60% post-consumer recycled plastic in FSC-certified packaging.
