The HP 912XL High Yield Black Original Ink Cartridge (HP part 3YL84AE) is the genuine high-capacity black cartridge for HP's OfficeJet 8010-series and OfficeJet Pro 8020-series all-in-one printers. Its pigment-based black ink gives crisp, water-resistant text on plain paper, making it well suited to invoices, letters, reports and forms in small offices and home offices. HP rates the XL black at approximately 720 pages, far more than the standard 912 black, which reduces the cost per printed page and the frequency of changes. The cartridge holds about 18 ml of ink. HP lists compatibility with the OfficeJet 8010e, 8012, 8014 and 8015 and the OfficeJet Pro 8020e, 8022, 8023, 8024 and 8025. The packaged cartridge measures about 106 x 44 x 115 mm and weighs around 60 g. Using original HP ink keeps the printer's ink-level monitoring and print quality working as designed, and HP recommends installing cartridges before the expiry date printed on the pack.
