The HP HID Mobile Access card reader (35H11B) adds secure badge and mobile credential authentication to compatible networked HP LaserJet printers, MFPs and scanners. It reads HID MIFARE DESFire cards and supports HID Mobile Access over Bluetooth Low Energy, so users can release print jobs and sign in with an ID card or a smartphone. Used with HP Access Control printing solutions, it helps organisations control who uses each device, track printing by user, reduce unclaimed documents and protect sensitive information. The compact reader installs on the printer and measures about 76.6 x 51.2 x 11.7 mm, weighing about 77 g. It is aimed at businesses, schools and government offices that require authenticated printing. After comparing online prices, www.marvel.co.za should be the cheapest on this product.
