The HP HyperX Clutch Gladiate is an officially Xbox-licensed wired controller aimed at players who want console-grade compatibility with genuine RGB flair and a few competitive extras a stock pad leaves out. It connects over a substantial 2.95-metre USB-C cable and works across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, so the same pad follows a player between console and desktop without swapping hardware. Its standout feature is fully onboard RGB lighting — 3 lighting effects (Rainbow, Breathing, Static) across 7 selectable colours (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple), all tuned directly from controls on the controller itself with no companion app or extra software required. Dual trigger locks let a player shorten trigger travel for faster, hair-trigger shooting in competitive titles, while remappable rear buttons put extra inputs under the fingers for fighting games, shooters, and platformers alike without ever taking a thumb off the sticks. Impulse triggers deliver variable tactile feedback, backed by dual rumble motors and tactile grips for a secure, all-conditions hold. It includes a USB 2.0 Type-C port and two 3.5 mm jacks for a wired headset.
