The HP LaserJet 512 GB SED-TAA Solid State Drive (766R7A) is an HP-original storage upgrade kit for HP LaserJet Managed MFPs. SED stands for self-encrypting drive, so data written to the drive, such as stored jobs, scans and address books, is encrypted in hardware, and TAA means the drive is compliant with the US Trade Agreements Act for government and regulated buyers. It is built for fleets that need secure storage on their copier-class devices, including the HP Color LaserJet Managed MFP E785, E786 and E877 series and the HP LaserJet Managed MFP E730, E731 and E826 series. The full kit comes with the drive mounted in its carrier bracket, ready to fit. The module measures 132 x 87 x 30 mm and weighs 94 g. HP's warranty on this part is 90 days parts only. After comparing online prices, www.marvel.co.za should be the cheapest on this product.
