The HP Type-C USB 3.1 Gen2 Port Flex IO v2 (part 13L59AA) is an internal Flex IO module for HP business desktops. Flex IO is HP's modular port bay: the front or rear of supported EliteDesk and ProDesk systems has a blanked opening into which an optional port module can be fitted, so a PC can be tailored to what a desk actually needs, and changed later as requirements evolve. This module adds one USB Type-C port running at USB 3.1 Gen 2 (USB 3.2 Gen 2) speed, up to 10 Gbit/s, for fast external SSDs, docks, phones and other modern USB-C devices. HP lists compatibility with the HP EliteDesk 800 G6 (Tower, SFF, Desktop Mini), EliteDesk 805 G6 (SFF, Desktop Mini), ProDesk 600 G6 (MT, SFF, DM), ProDesk 400/480 G7 MT, ProDesk 400 G6 DM, ProDesk 400 G7 SFF, ProDesk 405 G6 (MT, SFF, DM). The small board measures 41.6 x 39.7 x 16.7 mm and weighs about 10 g; it is installed inside the chassis by an IT technician. This is the data version; HP sells a separate variant with 100 W Power Delivery.
