The HP Universal Keyed Cable Lock (C6CQ2AA) is a physical security lock for laptops, monitors, docks and other devices, designed to stop opportunistic theft in offices, schools, hotels, libraries and shared workspaces. Its main selling point is a universal head: by rotating a wheel on the lock body you switch between Standard, Wedge and Nano lock-slot tips, so one lock covers practically any business laptop or monitor without buying separate locks for different slot types. The 360-degree swivel tip lets the cable hang naturally whichever way the device faces. The cable is cut-resistant galvanised steel and the head is zinc alloy; you loop the cable around a desk leg or other fixed object and lock it into the device with the supplied keys. The lock is compact at about 44.9 x 36.2 x 22.6 mm, the cable is 1.83 m long, and the whole unit weighs around 166 g. The key cover and cable tie contain at least 50% post-consumer recycled plastic and the packaging is FSC certified.
