The HP Universal Resettable Combination Cable Lock (C6CQ3AA) secures laptops, monitors, docking stations and other equipment against casual theft without the need to carry or manage keys. A four-dial combination can be reset to a code of your choosing, which suits IT departments issuing locks to staff, students or hot-desk users. Like its keyed sibling it has a universal head: rotating a wheel on the body switches between Standard, Wedge and Nano lock-slot tips, so one lock fits almost any current business device, and the 360-degree swivel tip keeps the cable from twisting. The cut-resistant cable is galvanised steel and the head zinc alloy; loop it around a desk leg or fixed object and lock it into the device slot. The lock head measures about 49 x 43.7 x 22.6 mm, the cable is 1.83 m long and the lock weighs around 169 g. The cable tie contains at least 50% post-consumer recycled plastic and the packaging is FSC certified. It works from -10 to 60 degrees C and carries HP's three-year limited warranty, making it a practical choice for offices, classrooms and libraries.
